Sacramental Preparation
The St. Mary, Our Lady Queen of Families Religious Education program offers sacramental preparation for students receiving Reconciliation, First Communion and Confirmation. Requirements to receive any sacrament include the desire to receive the sacrament, proper preparation to help the recipient understand what they are receiving, and faith. Students must be enrolled in the Religious Education program and must attend classes on a regular basis. Parents are also expected to participate in the preparation process by attending Mass with their children on a regular basis, and by attending required workshops and meetings. Baptism of the student is a prerequisite and proof must be provided to the Religious Education office upon registration.
