Confirmation is a Catholic Sacrament of mature Christian commitment and a deepening of baptismal gifts. It is one of the three Sacraments of Initiation for Catholics. It is most often associated with the gifts of the Holy Spirit.
The sacrament of Confirmation is celebrated in the eighth grade. In order to receive the sacrament students must be enrolled in a religious education program for one year prior to the sacrament reception. If a child is older than the age in which sacraments are received, arrangements can be made to properly prepare the child to receive the sacraments.
Confirmation date will be announced at a later date.
